Wendy Liu is a strategic problem solver with a diverse background in risk and technology consulting, cybersecurity product management, eCommerce website building, growth strategy, and foraging.
She is currently pursuing a Master’s in Food Studies at NYU, where she is focusing on food systems work to support more sustainable, equitable, and connected communities. Most recently, she worked as Director of Growth at a small Seattle-based catering company where she drove an 8% year over year revenue growth. Before that, she was a Senior Product Manager at Microsoft building cybersecurity enterprise products specifically for governing third party apps and Security Operations Center (SOC) services. Lastly, her first job was consulting at PricewaterhouseCoopers in risk management, regulatory compliance, and intelligent automation.
Wendy is a strong believer in the ability of embodied experiences in nature and with food to bring people together and hopes to center that in her work. In her free time she is an avid daughter, sister, friend, swimmer, forager, cook, and cat mom.
